CARE Electrician Exam Prep

Why CARE

A study tool should earn your trust before it asks for your money.

Exam prep is easy to make look good and hard to make right. These are the rules we build to, and the reasons behind them.

  1. Tied to your code edition

The National Electrical Code changes every three years and states adopt it on their own schedule. A question that is right under one edition can be wrong under the next. CARE records the edition on every question, ties each exam to the edition its board uses, and re-checks the affected items when that changes.

  2. Sourced and checkable

You should be able to check any answer in your own code book in seconds. Each question points to the article and section behind it and carries a last-verified date. Because the code is copyrighted, CARE writes original scenarios and explanations, and will seek the owner's permission before showing any code text, tables or figures.

  3. Honest about readiness

A single readiness number looks authoritative and usually is not. Until a model is calibrated against real exam outcomes, CARE reports evidence: coverage, accuracy with sample size, recency, trend and lookup speed. It also keeps weak and untested apart, so one bad answer on an unseen topic is not called a weakness.

  4. Built on a proven platform

Answers are graded on the server, so the key is never sent to your browser before you submit. The same study engine that drives CARE's other products schedules your reviews and ranks your weak topics. Electrician adds what the trade needs: code-book navigation, calculation checking and edition-aware content.

What we will not do

  • Publish a pass rate, student testimonials or question counts we have not measured.
  • Show a readiness percentage without outcome data to back it.
  • Copy code text we do not have permission to use.
  • Describe a feature as available before it works.

The CARE family

CARE Electrician is one of several sibling exam-prep products built around the same approach: check requirements against the authorities that set them, build questions from documented sources, explain why answers are right or wrong, and report your actual results instead of pretending to predict whether you'll pass.
